Gambia: 47 migrants intercepted near the Senegalese border

This Friday, June 12, 2026, the Border Patrol Unit (BPU) of the Gambia Immigration Department (DIG), based at the Migration Management Unit (MMU) of Tanji, intercepted 47 people who were trying to illegally cross the border at the village of Bafuloto.
