This Friday, June 12, the European Asylum and Immigration Pact came into force in member countries. This text, adopted in 2024, aims to establish an asylum system common to the States of the European Union. A reform which tightens the conditions of entry and stay of foreigners which is opposed by several actors in the sector. The entry into force of the Pact has several criticized consequences for asylum seekers in France.
