The European Union (EU) migration policy implemented in June is getting tougher. After years of debate, the Asylum and Migration Pact will apply. This legislative package is supposed to establish solidarity between the Twenty-Seven to distribute asylum seekers and also speed up the examination of files by providing for filtering at the external borders of the European Union in transit zones.
