The Japan Association for the Promotion of International Trade, one of the Japan-China friendship organizations whose chairman was Yohei Kono, former Speaker of the House of Representatives who passed away earlier this month, has decided to postpone its delegation's visit to China, which was scheduled for later this month. This was the first such visit by a friendly group since the deterioration of Sino-Japanese relations, and the meeting with dignitaries was attracting attention.
