Russian assault units blew up entire floors and made raids into basements to flush the enemy out of Konstantinovka. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian Armed Forces established full control over the eastern part of the city and reached the northeastern outskirts, where the Russian flag was raised. The military calls Konstantinovka a gate, a bridgehead and a fulcrum for further advancement. According to the fighters, the liberation of this settlement is necessary for the successful cleansing of the cascade of DPR cities.
