The major courts of Tunisia and the states of Nabeul and Zaghouan witnessed the first protest movements, as lawyers carried out a strike from work, including a protest gathering in the lobby of the Palace of Justice in the capital, during which participants raised slogans and banners demanding the resignation of the Minister of Justice, reform of the judicial facility, and ensuring the independence of the judiciary, in addition to slogans in support of public freedoms.
