This year marks 40 years since the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, known in Russian as the worst in history, occurred. Local governments surrounding the nuclear power plant in Ukraine have concluded a partnership agreement with the town of Futaba in Fukushima Prefecture, which also experienced the nuclear power plant accident, late this month, and it has been learned that they are making arrangements to exchange opinions for recovery and share information about the lessons learned from the accident.
