The inauguration was attended by the governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas. Now on g1 Diagnosis and treatment Accredited as a High Complexity Oncology Care Unit (Unacon), the institution now offers comprehensive care, from diagnosis to treatment. The new treatment center is expected to help reduce patient waiting times. In 2025, 10,371 chemotherapy sessions and 9,676 radiotherapy sessions were carried out in patients treated by the Unified Health System (SUS), consolidating Santa Casa as a regional reference in oncological treatment. With the requirements of the legislation that regulates UNACONs, complete integration of the network became necessary, centralizing services in a single space.
