The concessionaire Eixo SP plans to build a new 19 km long road to relieve traffic in the urban areas of São Pedro (SP) and Águas de São Pedro (SP). There is no forecast for the delivery of the section, but, according to the company, the investment is estimated at R$300 million — understand below.
📍 Named Contorno de São Pedro, the new route will connect two points on the Geraldo de Barros Highway (SP 304): close to the Thermas de São Pedro water park and close to the Bridgestone Proving Ground.

The construction will give drivers another option, meaning they don't need to enter cities to follow the route. According to the concessionaire, the new road will improve regional transport and reduce congestion and noise in urban centers.
Work is scheduled to begin in the coming months and, according to the concessionaire, will last at least two years.

Meeting with residents
This Monday (8), more than 60 residents from the surrounding area participated in a meeting with the company to clarify doubts about the project.
Representatives from the concessionaire presented information about the route of the new road, implementation stages and environmental licensing.
