International calls to hold dissidents who joined the Sudanese army accountable

Human Rights Watch called on the leadership of the Sudanese Armed Forces to ensure that the leaders who defected from the Rapid Support Forces who joined the army are held accountable, against the backdrop of accusations of committing serious crimes and violations during the ongoing war in Sudan, stressing that changing military affiliation should not be a reason for escaping justice.
