Egypt announces the completion of payment of all late dues to foreign oil companies

The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources in Egypt, Karim Badawi, announced, “Egypt has succeeded in completely ending the file of late dues to investment partners in the oil and gas sectors, bringing them to zero for the first time in years, after they reached about 6.1 billion dollars in June 2024.”
