The PM's family registered the case with the police due to the damage caused to the property and the intimidation suffered on the internet on Monday (8). In the images recorded by Douglas, the police officer appears excited. In an excerpt of the recording, Luiz threatens the delivery man after complaining about the horns in front of the house. Douglas: Cool boss. Sorry, sorry Luiz: Sorry, nothing. When you get in front of my house and honk like a bitch... I'm going to beat you up. Douglas: Beauty Luiz: You can record whatever you want. I'm making it clear to you. If you arrive here honking like a s***, you will learn that this is not a place for s***. Douglas: Sorry boss. It won't happen again. To g1, Douglas reported that he has worked in the profession for eight years and that he felt intimidated during the episode. "I did this for my defense. Imagine if I wasn't filming? I'm just a worker," the delivery man said in an internet post. Family version of the police officer The case generated repercussions on social media. Reproduction The police officer's family presents a different version. According to Marta Gavilan, wife of Luiz Guilherme Rodrigues, the argument began after the delivery man honked his horn several times in front of the residence during the night. Marta states that the family was waiting for the delivery and that the police officer went out to complain about the excessive honking because an elderly neighbor lives in front of the property. According to Marta, the delivery man responded ironically, which increased the tension of the discussion. "I'm not going to say that just one side was wrong. Both were wrong. My husband lost his temper, but there was also provocation," he said. The police officer's wife also questions the context of the recording released on social media and claims that the video only shows part of what happened. Vandalism in the early hours of the morning Early in the morning, after the repercussion of the images, the police officer's residence was the target of vandalism. According to Marta, a group of 15 to 20 motorcyclists with their motorcycle license plates covered went to the location. They honked their horns, kicked the gate and threw stones and firecrackers at the property. The family reported that they woke up scared and thought the noise was gunshots. The gate was damaged. Due to threats and insults received after the episode, the PM's wife had to restrict her profiles on social media. "Today I can't even go outside my house without fear", he reported. In a post on social media, Marta stated that acts of vandalism cannot be justified by discussion. "Yes, there was an argument. The delivery man was disrespectful and provoked the situation. Afterwards, the customer also got excited. But nothing justifies vandalism, threats or attacks", he wrote. Motor delivery driver denies involvement in vandalism Douglas claims that he did not participate in the act of vandalism at the family home and says he has no responsibility for what happened after the video was released. "I didn't go to that place. I got home and I was scared. I realized what the people did the other day. They felt outraged by the situation and went there to demand it somehow", he explained. g1 contacted the Military Police to request a position on the agent's conduct and find out whether an internal investigation will be opened, but did not receive a response until the last update of this report.
