The action is a follow-up to the inspection that began on Monday (8), when two other establishments were also inspected by the authorities. The collected goods occupied a box truck used in the operation. However, there is still no official confirmation on the total number of items seized. The operation is carried out jointly by Decon, Procon-MS and the Scientific Police. The experts will be responsible for preparing reports that will confirm whether the products are actually counterfeit. According to the delegate, in addition to the suspicion of counterfeiting, some of the goods also show signs of embezzlement and smuggling. In these cases, the products will be sent to the Federal Revenue Service for the appropriate measures. Operation started on Monday On Monday (8), two stores had already been inspected in Campo Grande. In an establishment located on Rua 14 de Julho, 2,648 pairs of sneakers suspected of being counterfeit were seized. In a store on Avenida dos Cafezais, in the Jardim Centro-Oeste neighborhood, agents collected 1,678 pairs of sneakers, 347 pieces of clothing and 39 thermal cups. As happened this Tuesday, a truck was used to transport all the seized material. According to authorities, only products suspected of irregularities were recalled. Those responsible for the establishments may also be administratively fined by Procon.
