The defense of banker Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Master, included information about the financing of Dark Horse, a film about the life of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL), and about the relationship with senator Ciro Nogueira (PP-PI) in the new award-winning collaboration proposal. Daniel Vorcaro, however, does not treat payments for the film's production as bribes. The investigators' assessment is that the information did not present new elements for the investigation and the tendency is for the agreement to be denied again. Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) asked Vorcaro for money for the film about his father. The information was revealed by "Intercept Brasil", which stated that the banker paid R$61 million for the production. Vorcaro's defense also included information about the banker's relationship with senator Ciro Nogueira, president of the PP, but mitigates responsibilities in relation to what the Federal Police have already discovered. Now on g1 Ciro Nogueira was the target of a federal police operation accused of using a mandate to favor the Master, in May. The PF says that Vorcaro sent an envelope to Ciro Nogueira with a bill that favored the banker's interests. The investigation also identified the payment of a type of allowance of R$500,000. The defense had access to the entire contents of the first cell phone seized from the banker when he was arrested for the first time, in November last year. The content has served as the basis for investigations, which are progressing without the banker's collaboration. The agreement continues to be negotiated with the PF and the PGR jointly. Investigators had been complaining that the material presented by the defense added little to what had already been raised by the PF and that the impression was that Vorcaro was acting to protect people close to him. The PF learned more than eight of Daniel Vorcaro's cell phones and only the initial examination of some of these phones has already revealed that the banker's scheme goes beyond a financial fraud scheme, involving corruption, criminal organization and the use of a private militia to attack opponents and access confidential data. According to Valdo Cruz's blog on g1, the negotiation of the plea bargain is centered around the return of resources and the eventual proof of official acts by the aforementioned authorities. Investigators reported that the logic of the agreement is technical, with no pre-defined targets or exclusions. On May 22, the banker's interlocutors told the blog that he agreed to increase the amount to be returned from R$40 billion to R$60 billion if an award-winning collaboration with the Attorney General's Office (PGR) is reached.
