Spain is stuck in a rental crisis: up to 50% of the salary goes to housing

An analysis of a real estate website showed that the average percentage of salary allocated to housing costs has risen by 12 percentage points since 2019, while Madrid and Catalonia top the ranking among regions with 70% of income going to housing.
