The Patrouille de France draws the tricolor flag above the Statue of Liberty

To kick off the French mission, called "Liberté 250", as part of the celebrations of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the United States, eight aircraft from the Patrouille de France flew over the Statue of Liberty, donated by France in 1886.
