The case occurred on the banks of the Régis Bittencourt Highway (BR-116), last Sunday (7). A video shared on social media shows the man punching the car windshield. He was injured and was treated at a health unit in the city.
On Monday (8), the DDM of Registration opened an investigation to collect statements and gather new elements of the case. The victim requested protective measures against her ex-boyfriend and his father. g1 did not locate their defense until the publication of this report.

According to the incident report, military police arrived at the scene a few minutes after the episode. They approached the father and son involved in the violent scenes and, according to the woman's statement, did not take any action in relation to the case.

The woman said that one of the agents informed that the incident would be the responsibility of the Federal Highway Police (PRF), who went to the location and informed that the case should be handled by the PM. During this interval, the ex-boyfriend left the place and went to the hospital.
The woman told police that the suspect had taken her cell phone. According to her, the agents recommended that she go to the unit to request the phone back and call the police again if the suspect refused to return the device.
Still according to the record, the victims felt helpless by the response due to the “extreme violence of the events and the concrete risk to their integrity”. The woman also said that she received information that the agents who went to the scene were known to her ex-father-in-law.
