The Collective Labor Agreement agreement, signed by the Union of Employees in Supermarket Retail Commerce of Goiás (Secom-GO), was registered with the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE) on June 2nd. The increases, the new opening hours on Sundays and the non-operation during the holidays of May 1st (Labor Day), October 4th (early Commerce Day) and December 25th (Christmas) have already been in effect since the date the agreement was signed. "The collective agreement, of course, is the result of the labor entity's efforts, without a doubt. However, this year, it was not a collective agreement focused on increases. It is focused on social benefits, the limitation of work on Sundays and holidays, the implementation of the 5x2 working day and the implementation of NR 1 of the Ministry of Labor, that is, the worker's mental health", he declared.
