The Federal Highway Police (PRF) seized four kilos of a drug with characteristics similar to skunk on Monday night (8), after responding to a traffic incident at Km 2 of BR-424, in Arcoverde, in the Sertão of Pernambuco. The drug known as "super marijuana" was located in the vegetation on the side of the highway after police officers followed a trail of blood left after the accident.
The case began around 11pm, when the Fire Department called the PRF to respond to an accident involving a car that had left the road. Upon arriving at the scene, the team found the vehicle after the collision against a pole and identified blood marks nearby.

During the incident, police followed a trail of blood for approximately 150 meters. Along the way, they located eight bags containing the drug, which had characteristics similar to skunk.
According to information gathered at the scene, the driver of the vehicle suffered serious injuries and was taken to Arcoverde Hospital. The PRF team was at the health unit and confirmed that the occupant remained hospitalized in serious condition.
The seized drugs were sent to the Arcoverde Civil Police Station. The case will be investigated to determine the origin of the drug and the circumstances related to the occurrence.
