4th victim of being run over by fans in Belém dies The Civil Police reported this Monday (8) that they concluded the investigation into the run-over of Remo fans, in Belém. The Penitentiary Administration Secretariat reported that the person being investigated remains in custody at the disposal of the Justice Department. On May 31, the Court of Justice of Pará (TJPA) granted provisional release to the driver upon payment of bail in the amount of R$81,050.00. How was the accident The collision occurred in the early hours of Friday (29), on Avenida Augusto Montenegro, in the Parque Verde neighborhood, in Belém. According to the police, there was a chase on the road. The car driven by Pablo Henrique Farias da Silva, a member of an organized Paysandu fan base, hit six people who were on motorcycles, some of them members of an organized Remo fan group. Three of those who were run over died on Friday (29). Elder Martins Santos and Ruan Garcia Batista died at the scene. Jonatan Mateus Maciel was rescued, but he succumbed to his injuries and died in hospital. After three days in hospital, Davi Souza Conceição died this Monday (1st). The driver remains under arrest. According to Pablo's defense, he was trying to escape a general disturbance on the highway, his car was stoned and he lost control of the vehicle. The release permit must be issued after collecting the bond of 50 minimum wages. The court also ordered the suspension of the driver's license and precautionary measures.
