This Monday (8), it's time to tell you where Jornal Nacional's home is at the World Cup.
"We are in the heart of the island of Manhattan. In the Center of New York, where Seventh Avenue meets Broadway. It is the place in the city most visited by tourists and where New Year's Eve is celebrated. It is also a symbol of American entertainment", says Renata Vasconcellos.

The sounds of the planet are all found in Times Square, New York. It is in this scenario that Broadway corners the world's imagination.
Ronny Dutra, choreographer and director: In my first moment in New York, I decided that I was going to get on the subway and get out at Times Square. I looked up and said, "Wow!"
Renata Vasconcellos: What did you feel?
Ronny Dutra: My imagination started to run to places I had never dreamed of.

Ronny Dutra has been working on Broadway for almost ten years. He is a choreographer and director. He introduced his Times Square.
Ronny Dutra: Renata, we are here on the TKTS stairs. TKTS is the place everyone comes to get a 360-degree panoramic view of Times Square. You look up, you have light everywhere.
Renata Vasconcellos: Light and color, right?
Ronny Dutra: Light, color, sounds, people, cultures.
Renata Vasconcellos: So let's go up there.
Ronny Dutra: Every person there now: if we took a photo, I'm sure we would have at least 30 different cultures, people from all over the world.
Renata Vasconcellos: Yes. You can feel that vibration.
Ronny Dutra: Everything that is iconic, in one way or another, ends up in Times Square, because that's where people come, there's no other way. Now I want to take you to one of the most iconic restaurants in New York.
There, the food is just a detail.
Ronny Dutra: The difference, as you can see, is that your waiters serve you by singing.
Renata Vasconcellos: Where do they dance?
Ronny Dutra: Wherever there is space.
In the corner of the world, the silence doesn't last even a second. Sirens, signals, accents. It's a nervous symphony of urban voices, simultaneous, non-stop.
“I had never heard so many different languages in my life,” says a tourist.
“There are a lot of Brazilians, Arabs, Dominicans, there are a lot of nationalities”, says another tourist.

Times Square is a kind of soundtrack to planet New York. Everywhere, there is technology: the panels spread lights and colors. The vibration is really exaggerated. But, in the next 39 days, this corner of the world will hear another sound. Because the sounds of the World Cup almost all fit into our memory. The emotion of being Brazil in World Cup games has a 96-year history; five stars on the chest.
“Brazil wants Neymar to disappoint, but for the Seleção as a whole to win”, says a Brazilian.
“I'm going to support Vinicius Junior, for sure”, says another Brazilian.
"Also Endrick, right? New generation", says a Brazilian.
"A lot of love for the shirt, a lot of love for the team. I think we're going to do well", says a Brazilian.
When we walk through history, we realize how many emotions make up a World Cup. The World Cup is sport, it is culture, it is family, it is emotional memory. Imagine, then, the greatest World Cup of all time. Starting this Monday (8), Uncle Sam will hear our drumming. GloboPop: click to see videos from the Jornal Nacional stage
