The case happened this Friday (6), following a complaint. Those involved did not have valid authorization from the Brazilian Institute of the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (Ibama) to carry out the activity. The five men received environmental fines of R$500 each. In the criminal sphere, three of them remained in prison after being sent to the Bauru Judiciary Police Center. The other two were interviewed and released. The weapons and ammunition were seized. The Environmental Military Police reinforces that wild boar control can only be carried out with specific authorization from the competent bodies and with regular documentation of the weapons used.
