This, as long as the candidacy remains sub judice, that is, it is still under analysis and without a definitive decision from the Judiciary. The case rapporteur is judge Fernando Pinheiro dos Santos. The decision is a response to the candidate's appeal, which called for the immediate suspension of all electoral campaign activities. Arthur Henrique's defense claimed that he has the right to carry out free electoral propaganda, participate in campaign events and continue with his name in the electronic ballot box, "until the definitive pronouncement". Still according to the candidate's defense, the risk of damage due to the interruption of the electoral campaign in an election with a reduced calendar was highlighted. Furthermore, the Public Electoral Ministry expressed its support for Arthur Hernrique's continued candidacy. Offside Arthur Henrique was prevented from continuing with the electoral campaign by the "Roraima Segue em Frente" coalition (MDB/PDT/Pode/PSD/PSDB/Cidadania/Republicanos). The central argument is that Arthur and Antonia did not leave public positions at the right time required by law for anyone wishing to contest an election. Understand the case TRE-RR itself had created a more flexible rule for the supplementary election, which allowed candidates to leave their positions up to 24 hours after the party conventions. However, Minister Flávio Dino, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), overturned this rule, following a request from the Republican party, the acronym of the interim governor and also candidate Soldado Sampaio. In the decision, Dino explained that the normal deadlines for leave (which vary from three to six months before the election) serve to guarantee a fair dispute and prevent the use of public machinery in favor of campaigns. The TRE-RR accepted the decision on May 28th, and informed that it would comply with the STF's determination to adapt the non-compatibilization rules, but maintained the voting date for June 21st. The change directly impacted Arthur Henrique's (PL) campaign. The former mayor of Boa Vista resigned from his position on April 2nd. As a result, until election day, he would have been away for just over two months, less time than required. PL, Arthur Henrique's party, also protested, arguing that the change only benefits Soldado Sampaio's candidacy and harms the participation of legitimate names in the dispute. The situation of Antonia Pedrosa (PT) was similar, as she only left her role as a teacher after the party convention, held on May 15th. Because of this requirement, the judge responsible for the case considered that the two candidacies are currently irregular. TRE-RR ordered the immediate removal of all campaign material from both, including the cancellation of paid advertisements on the internet.
