On Saturday June 6, in Huwara in the occupied West Bank, several Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian residents, stole their livestock and set fire to a field. The clashes reportedly left at least 9 injured on the Palestinian side, and according to The Times of Israel, two suspects were arrested by the Israeli police. This peak of violence comes against a backdrop of extreme tensions in the West Bank, where at least 1,080 Palestinians (civilians and fighters) have been killed by Israeli soldiers or settlers since October 7, according to AFP.
