The federal government will launch a new line of credit for motorcyclists to finance new motorcycles. Move Motos will follow the logic of MoveApps, launched last month to help app drivers and taxi drivers finance vehicles. The measure was announced by the Minister of the Civil House, Miriam Belchior, last week, during a ministerial meeting led by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. On the occasion, Lula recalled that all federal government deliveries must take place by July 3, due to the electoral calendar. On the first day of operations, R$3.2 billion in credit was contracted by Move Brasil, of the R$21.2 billion made available by the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES), responsible for operating the resources. In the case of Movo Máquinas Agrícolas, R$10 billion is available to micro and small tourism entrepreneurs. Move Applications In the case of MoveApps, 740 thousand professionals have already met the requirements to access the financing line with the most favorable conditions. Credit analysis and contracting with banks begins on June 19th. The federal government opened extraordinary credit of R$30 billion for the purchase of vehicles by taxi and app drivers. The resources will be transferred by the Ministry of Finance to BNDES, which will also implement the measure. To qualify, the driver must complete registration on the gov.br/movebrasil platform.
