An experimental drug improves the chances of survival in pancreatic cancer patients

Researchers said on Sunday that an experimental drug produced by Revolution Medicine to treat pancreatic cancer increased the survival rate compared to chemotherapy by a similar amount, and alleviated symptoms enough so that some patients were able to resume activities that they had stopped, setting a new standard for this deadly type of cancer.
