A major accident occurred on Monday at Vizag Steel Plant in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Eight workers died due to the spill of molten iron at the plant. Rest of the people were injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. According to the information, this accident happened when molten iron was being transported from one place to another with the help of a crane in a big bucket. The temperature of the iron at the time of the accident was about 1600°C. Meanwhile, extremely hot molten iron spread out from the bucket and fell on the employees working there. It took place at the Vizag Steel Plant of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL). After the incident, there was an atmosphere of chaos in the plant premises.
