As it was a woman's death, the Specialized Women's Assistance Police Station (Deam) was called to record the incident.
To the police, Renata's sister informed that she had no comorbidities, was not undergoing medical treatment and did not use medication continuously.
Chief Leandro Santiago registered the case as a death resulting from an atypical event. The incident was then forwarded to the Community Emergency Care Police Station (Depac) Cepol, responsible for distributing the case for investigation.
