Around 80 miniature trucks were displayed by collectors, this Saturday (7), on the streets of Dom Expedito Lopes, in the south of Piauí. The 4th edition of the Miniatures Festival, created by businessman Vinícius Pereira de Sousa, 29 years old, brought together more than 400 people. From then on, I invited some friends for lunch at my house and we organized a small meeting to present the miniatures", he said. "The main motivation was to create an event aimed at families, especially children, but which would also arouse the interest of young people and adults who share the same passion for collecting and the universe of miniatures", he stated. In 2025, the parade even had an escort from the Federal Highway Police (PRF). For Vinícius, the success of the Miniaturas Festival strengthens the expectation of consolidating it as a tradition in Dom Expedito Lopes.
