A human rights organization demands a criminal investigation into accusations of the rape of a German journalist inside an Israeli prison

On Sunday, the Israeli human rights group Adalah called for the opening of a criminal investigation into testimony given by German journalist Anne Liedtke, in which she said that she was raped by Israeli female guards inside the “Givon” prison in central Israel, during her detention following the interception of a ship that was heading to Gaza.
