Material seized by the Military Police Military Police/Disclosure An action by the Military Police resulted in the seizure of narcotics and various materials linked to drug trafficking in different parts of Mojuí dos Campos, in the west of Pará, on Saturday night (6). According to the 35th Military Police Battalion (35th BPM), the teams carried out overt and preventive actions after receiving complaints and information about the possible sale of drugs on Rua da Miséria and along the PA-431 highway, close to the Boa Fé and Portelinha communities. During the investigations and approaches, the police found wrappers containing substances with characteristics similar to cocaine base paste, in addition to materials frequently used in drug trafficking activities. In the residence targeted by the investigation, located on Rua da Miséria, the military seized drugs, cell phones, watches, cash and plastic packaging used to package narcotics. In the Portelinha community, the police located more quantities of drugs, cell phones, watches, cash and materials used in the fractionation and storage of illicit substances. All material collected was forwarded to the responsible police authority, which should continue the investigations and legal procedures related to the case. According to the Military Police, the actions are part of strategies to combat drug trafficking and reinforce public security in the region. The corporation highlighted that it continues to carry out preventive and overt operations to curb criminal activities and ensure greater peace of mind for the population.
