The Court sentenced a Civil Police clerk to 6 years, 2 months and 20 days in prison for entering false data into an information system, in Araçuaí, in Vale do Jequitinhonha. The decision was taken by the 5th Criminal Chamber of the Court of Justice of Minas Gerais (TJMG) after analyzing an appeal presented by the defense.
According to the ruling, the employee was investigated for interfering in police procedures and altering official records to benefit people with whom she had personal ties. The facts would have occurred during the exercise of public service.

The Military Highway Police seized 11 thousand bags of cocaine, around 10 kilos of marijuana and various goods with signs of smuggling and embezzlement during Operation Corpus Christi, on BR-135, in Buenópolis.
The material was in a box truck approached at km 510 of the highway after reports indicated that the vehicle was being used to transport drugs.

The Federal Highway Police detained a load of goods transported without the required tax documentation during a routine inspection carried out on BR-251, in Montes Claros.
According to the PRF, the products were sold by an online sales company operating in Brazil and abroad. The truck was approached at km 513.8 of the highway, where police officers discovered that the cargo was not accompanied by the mandatory tax documentation.

A 19-year-old died and another, 24, was injured in a motorcycle accident in the São Judas neighborhood, in Montes Claros. According to Samu, the motorcycle was driven by the 19-year-old boy, who lost control of the steering wheel and hit a road sign.
The passenger suffered abrasions to his left knee, received treatment at the scene and refused to be taken to the hospital.
According to the Military Police, the survivor reported that they were traveling along Rua Padre Vieira and that the motorcyclist was traveling at high speed. He also said that he was typing a message on his cell phone at the time of the accident and, therefore, was unable to say exactly what the dynamics were, but he believes that the driver hit his head on the road sign.
